Volunteers Needed
Timberline is a non-profit organization and relies greatly on volunteerism. In the past this has not been emphasized enough and as a result some things that could be done to help the club have fallen by the wayside. We are in need of your help and support, anyway you can help is appreciated. Also, remember that anything in the list below will count toward your 10 hours of volunteer time. So pick something that sounds interesting and have fun. As the events get closer you will be contacted for your help.
Thank you for your support.

Rink Monitor
(Rink Monitoring is sitting at the rink in the hockey box, or music playing area of the rink during skating sessions. The rink monitor has a binder with a list of the skaters and takes attendance, collects walk on ice payments, checks off punch cards and makes sure that all skaters on the ice have paid for the ice session.
The rink monitor is also there, most importantly, in case of an emergency. If a skater is injured or just needs a band aid there must be an adult apart from the coaches to watch the skaters. Life guard if you will. IT IS A GREENHECK AND MARATHON PARK RULE, we may not take the ice with out a rink monitor.
Rink monitoring is not part of your volunteer time. it is a job we must all pitch in and share for the skaters safety.
When the rink monitor does not show up, it puts this burden on the coaches who are teaching and should not have to take time away from students to collect fees and play music.)
